Linda Ann Wirth Jones

Linda Ann Wirth Jones passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Saturday morning, October 29, 2016. She was a loving mother to Darnell Jones Terral, Christine Lawler-Helms, Melissa Jones Blum and loving mother-in-law to Millias D Helms, Greg E Blum and loving grandmother to Seth J Lawler, Evan C Blum, and Brogan E Blum. Linda was the daughter of the late Daniel and Mary Wirth and was a native of New Orleans and a resident of Kenner for over 50 years. She graduated high school from the St. Joseph Academy in New Orleans. Linda was a dedicated employee of Acosta Food Service for over 34 year where she worked as a wholesale food broker. She was a parishioner and active choir member of Divine Mercy Catholic Church and a previous member of St. Ann Catholic Church, also a member of the Jefferson Performing Arts Society. Linda was very talented in creating crafts and actively participated in many craft shows. She loved animals and had several dogs and cats over her lifetime. Linda will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial from Divine Mercy, 4337 Sal Lentini Parkway, Kenner, on Thursday morning, November 3, 2016 at 10:30. Visitation will begin in church at 9:30. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, New Orleans. Reception to follow at 1:00pm, Acosta Office, 2628 Lexington Avenue, Kenner.
