My sincere condolenses to Linda ,Louis, Philip and their families for the loss of their father .Uncle Louis was always  kind and very friendly.Bragged on his children and grandchildren.There are so many good memories to look back on.

I have much time sitting in my back yard. my memory is still good. I recently took a fall and fractured my hip. which currently immobilized me. I won't be able to make the funeral. I do remember, the ninth ward, and hard times. I remember little Louis as I was pulling the push lawnmower reached in to grab the blade which I didnt' see, cause I was pulling the mower, and he lost his finger, I remember Aunt Dora and my Mom putting money together to eat. I remember center street in St Bernard Parish. Uncle Louis with this model A black ford, and his green 54 ford and I remember his 57 Ford. All this on Center Street in St Bernard Parish. I remember crabbing for food on Paris Road.I remember being with Uncle Louis and Aunt Dora and their family constantly for many years together. And Uncle Louis's Brother in law giving him a orange scooter which uncle louis unselfishly shared for us to ride. I remember sitting in the 57 ford, with all of us and Uncle Louis racing another car, This car was very fast. I remember Uncle Louis moving to Toca. He had a Green 55 chevy and he also had a bolt action 22 rifle he unselfishly shared with me and his son to go into the woods and hunt rabbits. I also remember the Pelto's, eating at their house every other Sunday. I remember all the Mardi Gras in St Bernard Parish with Uncle Louis and Aunt Dora and their family. I have much more to write but no space and time for I remember more than this computer can hold.I love and miss you all and am Praying for you all for the loss of your dad and you all will be remembered in my heart and prayers and in my families prayers. Sorry to hear that Uncle Louis Passed on. You all will be in my thoughts and prayers. May God grant you peace during this especially rough time. Now Uncle Louis is with Jesus and all of his family once again, in Heaven.

Dear Members of the LeFebvre family,
I just wanted you to know that all of you will be remembered in all of my prayers at this most difficult time.  I only knew your loved one for a short period of time, but found him to be a very kind and gentle person.  My name is Sr. Cynthia Knowles and I had the privilege of bringing Louis communion on several occasions.  Unfortunately, I will be out of town on Saturday and will be unable to attend his wake and funeral. All of us in the pastoral care office will remember you in our prayers.  May God comfort you at this most difficult time.  A mass will be celebrated for Mr. Louis at the Chateau.
