Louise R Fried

Louise Rita Callais Fried, surrounded by her family, went home to be with the Lord, on the 10th day of August, 2010. She was born to the late Hubert and Stella Callais in Cut Off, LA on the 2nd day of November, 1924. She was preceded in death by her sister, Earline Callais, her brother Nolan Callais and her great granddaughter, Lilly Elizabeth Delaune. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Karl Fried; loving mother of Betty Olsen (husband Lloyd), Robert Fried, Jr. (wife Linda), Patty Delaune (husband Sam), Shannon Fried Gongora and Paige Fried. She is survived by her sister Clara Mae Callais Defiore, 14 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to the funeral service in the Chapel of Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA 70001 on Saturday, August 14, 2010 at1:00 pm. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Louise’s name can be made to North Oaks Hospice, P.O.
