Born in Slaughter, Louisiana, Louise was the daughter of Curtis Bernard, known as “C.B.” and to some as “Papa Tanner,” and his wife, George Williams, lovingly known as “Nanny”. On January 1, 1950, she married Harold Fuller, known more affectionately as “Poppy”. Their marriage was a lasting partnership marked by shared commitment and many memorable adventures, including cruises to the Caribbean.
Louise took great pride in her appearance and was known for beginning each day with her hair and makeup carefully done, always polished and put together. She worked at **Merle Norman in Metairie, Louisiana**, where her attention to detail and appreciation for beauty were reflected in her work.
She enjoyed life’s quieter pleasures: preparing meals, tending to her garden, sewing, and spending time reading. A natural night owl, she enjoyed staying up late to read, watch television, and appreciate peaceful moments to herself.
Friendship and fellowship were meaningful parts of her routine. She enjoyed gathering with the Pioneer Club of retirees of South-Central Bell and valued her time with the John Calvin Presbyterian Circle Ladies, forming steady connections through those communities.
She is survived by her children, Linda Fuller Kern and husband Leo, Donna Fuller Fare, and Ronnie Wayne Fuller and wife Megan; her grandchildren, Adrienne Locascio, Kevin Kern and wife Shannon, Eric Price Fare and husband John, Nicole Fuller, and Jared Fuller; and her great‑grandson, Nicholas Locascio.
Thank you to Laketown Assisted Living for all of the care and attention given to our mom.
