Lucille “Lucy” Therese Rodriguez Morgan, age 94, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2015. Mrs. Morgan was a native of Edgard, LA and was a resident of Metairie, LA since 1975. Beloved wife of the late Fred Morgan. Mother of Marie Ann Morgan. Daughter of the late Valcour Rodriguez and Marie Marse Rodriguez. Sister of the late Beatrice Songy, Hortense Moore, Gertrude Guidry, Elodie Delatte, Louise DiBenedetto, Pauline Loeb, Rita Avrard and Henry Rodriguez (surviving wife, Joyce). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Morgan was a retired registered nurse. She graduated from the School of Nursing at Old Mercy Hospital Annunciation Street in 1943. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA on Monday morning, June 22, 2015 beginning at 9:00 AM with a Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 AM in Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home’s chapel.
