Mable Helen Tiemann

Mable Helen Cassidy Tiemann, known to both family and friends as “Sicoo”, beloved wife of 48 years of M. Joseph Tiemann, after a brief illness, departed this world at age 73, on Sunday, July 9, 2017. Having received the last rites of her Catholic faith, and surrounded by her husband and children, she died a peaceful death. “Sicoo” was predeceased by her father and mother, Bill and Helen Cassidy, and brothers Jimmy, Bill, and, Fritz Cassidy. Survived by her husband, she is also survived by her son, Bill Tiemann (Dawn), and their children, Caroline and Jack, her daughter, Marcy Tiemann Dunham (Brant), and their children, Jackson, Eva, and Audrey. She is also survived by her brother Jack Cassidy (Joann), and her sister, Alta Strong. In addition she is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and countless friends. “Sicoo” led a full life, was a devout Catholic, and a wonderful mother and grandmother. Also, she was a fine tennis player! The family thanks all for their kind support in this time of sorrow. May she rest in peace. Funeral services will be on Thursday morning, July 13, 2017 at ST. CLEMENT OF ROME CHURCH, 4317 Richland Avenue, corner of West Esplanade Avenue, Metairie. Visitation will begin at 9:30 with Mass to follow at 11:00.
