Manfred Wolfgang Stumpf departed this life on Tuesday January 12, 2016 at 8:30 pm. Manfred was born in Meitingen, Germany on August 5, 1939 to the late Georg and Rosl Bernhart Stumpf. He is survived by his brother Bernhart and sister Gabrilel, nieces, Katrina, Anna and Teresa, as well as many great-nieces and great-nephews. Manfred was a long time “Hotelier” and enjoyed his travels and his many friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to benefit the American Cancer Society or Ochsner Health System https://giving.ochsner.org for the Liver Transplant Patient Assistance Fund. There will be a Memorial Service for his friends Saturday April 30, 2016 at the Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church (in the chapel) at 500 Eliza Street around the corner from the church in Algiers Point, Louisiana beginning with visitation at 10:30 am., with the Memorial Service starting at 11:00 am.
