Marie Boudreaux Gardere, age 95, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, March 13, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Walter J. Gardere, Sr. Loving mother of Walter J. Gardere, Jr. (Mel), Cheryl Gardere Felton and Edward P. Gardere (Kay). Proud grandmother of 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Marie was a life-long resident of New Orleans up until Katrina when she lost her home and relocated to Metairie where she lived independently till the age of 95. She will be sadly missed by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., Metairie on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 1:00pm.
