Mark W. Haney, age 58, entered into his eternal rest, on Monday, August 25, 2014. Loving son of Lorraine Noonan Haney and the late Robert Leidner Haney Sr. Brother of Carolyn Olson (Angus), Joyce Whetstone (Timothy) and Robert Leidner Haney, Jr. (Debbie). Grandson of the late Orline Leidner and Benjamin Jacob Haney. Mark also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and friends. Mark was the owner and operator of Gulf States Roofing Company. He exhibited his compassion by taking care of his invalid mother for many years, and his wonderful sense of humor was enjoyed by everyone. He will be sorely missed by all the lives that he touched. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., Metairie on Friday, September 5, 2014 at 7:00pm.Visitation from 5pm until time of service.
