Martha Lepre

Martha Dean Hampton Lepre passed away on Friday, November 29, 2013 at the age of 78. She is the wife of the late Lewis Talmadge Lepre. Beloved mother of Roxanne Marie Lepre and her partner Karen Marie Ryan, Edward Vincent Lepre and his wife Laura Dale Lepre, Marcella Lepre Joyce and her husband Richard Scott Joyce, her stepson C. Gerard “Jerry” Lepre and the late Leonard Clayton Lepre. She is survived by her granddaughter Heather Lepre Prestenback and her husband Michael Prestenback, and her grandson Nathan Lewis Lepre, and great grandchildren Addison Rose, Michael Vincent, and Ella Mae Prestenback. She was a graduate of Woodruff High School in 1953. She was a loyal employee of the VA hospital in New Orleans where she served as the assistant librarian. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends, especially her caregivers Debra and Angie. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Thursday, December 5, 2013, at 11:00 am with visitation beginning at 10:00 am at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Hwy, Metairie, La.
