Mary Kidd Lee

Mary Kidd Lee passed away Sunday, December 9, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Maxie T. Lee, Sr., of 46 years. Mother of Marian Lee Giangrosso (Gerard, Sr.) and the late Maxie T. Lee, Jr. Grandmother of Melissa Lee Giangrosso and Gerard Giangrosso, Jr. Sister of the late Kathryn Winters. Aunt of Sam McGee (CeSu) and Ronny Lee (Nancy), and great-aunt of Grace McGee, Emma McGee and Megan Lee. She was a native of Rosalie, Texas, and resident of Metairie for 50 years. She retired from the Jefferson Parish Public School System as an Account Clerk in 1987. She was a devoted member of Parkview Baptist Church, and an avid bridge player, frequenting the Bridge Center on Edenborn Avenue. She also enjoyed quilting. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services from Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, on Friday morning, December 14, 2012 at 10:00. Visitation will begin at 8:30. Interment to follow in Garden of Memories. A special thanks to those who cared for her at Sunrise Senior Living and Chateau De Notre Dame.
