Mary Ellen Shaw

Mary Ellen Shaw, went home on February 12, 2011. She was the beloved wife of Edward A. Shaw for 51 years. Mother of Nancy S. Bravender. Grandmother of Brian, Jr., Matthew and Joshua. Great-Grandmother of James. Mother-in-law of Brian Bravender. Grandmother-in-law of Jacob Mirambell and Amanda H. Bravender. She was preceded in death by her parents Irene and Alphonse Martory and her Aunt Estelle Palmeri, who was like a second mother to her. She will be greatly missed and forever loved.

Relatives and friends of the family, also the staff and friends of Covenant Home and Employees of Harrah’s Casino, New Orleans, LA., are invited to attend the funeral mass from Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp Funeral Home, 1600 N. Causeway Blvd., Metairie, La., on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at 11:00 AM, followed by interment in St. Joseph Cemetery #1 (Washington Ave.) Visitation on Thursday, February 17, 2011 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
