On February 20, 2011, Melissa Herbert Evans, departed this life before anyone was ready, to be with Our Heavenly Father. Daughter of Dennis Herbert and Debra Sparlin. Mother of Michael Evans, III. Sister of Shawn Herbert. Granddaughter of Evelyn Herbert. Preceded in death by husband Sgt. Michael Evans, II and grandfather Edward Herbert.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., Metairie on Friday, February 25, 2011 at 1:00 pm.
