

Nathan was born Feb. 4, 1991, to Wilfred A., Jr., and Rosemary (Pendzimaz) Trepagnier in New Orleans. He attended St. Angela Merici, Ecole Classique, and Holy Rosary Academy. Nathan was the valedictorian of the 2009 graduating class of Holy Rosary High School, where he won numerous academic, service, and religious awards including the Student of the Year award. Nathan then attended Nicholls State University, where he sought a major in history. His dream was to go to law school and enter politics. Nathan joined the Kappa Alpha Order and served as treasurer. He was also an active member of the Barony of Axemoor in the Society for Creative Anachronism.
Nathan was a devout Catholic and was a parishioner of St. Angela Merici and Our Lady of the Rosary parishes. He was an altar server at Our Lady of the Rosary. He also served several masses at St. Louis Cathedral.
Nathan is survived by his parents, Wilfred and Rosemary Trepagnier; his brother, Wilfred “Walt” A. Trepagnier III; his grandmother, Priscilla Pendzimaz; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Wilfred A., Sr., and Lorraine Trepagnier, and his maternal grandfather Edward Pendzimaz.
Visitation will be held at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home on Thursday, September 30, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd. Metairie, LA 70006. The funeral mass will take place on Friday, October 1, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, located at 3368 Esplanade Ave. New Orleans, LA 70119. A visitation at the church will precede the mass from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Interment at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
