Rachel Angele Montana went to heaven to become an Angel on Friday, October 17, 2014. She was 25 years old. Beloved daughter of Yvette Mazzone and Dino Mazzone. Granddaughter of Guy Montana, and the late Nicholas Mazzone and Miriam Mazzone. Great-granddaughter of the late Evelyn Montana. Niece of Angele Montana, Guy Montana Jr., Deborah Montana. Also survived by her dog, Purp. She was a lifelong resident of the New Orleans area. Rachel was a free spirit, always searching for the right path to take. She loved animals, and was a frequent volunteer of the ASPCA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial from LEITZ-EAGAN Metairie, 4747 Veterans Memorial Boulevard, on Thursday afternoon, October 23, 2014 at 1:00.
