Randy was born in Joliet, Illinois, on December 25th, 1942. He graduated from Wakefield High School and started his family in Arlington, Virginia, before relocating to New Orleans in the late 1960’s. He was a self-employed businessman who loved the LSU Tigers, the New Orleans Saints, going to the beach, traveling with his brother, sister, and their spouses, and visiting Sandy’s family in California. He was a loyal friend to all those who attended his weekly tennis nights, “good ole boy” lunches, and annual road trips to the Kentucky Derby. Randy could always be counted on to help a friend in need, and opened his home and heart to everyone who crossed his path. He loved to have fun and was a member of the Irish Channel St. Patrick’s Day Marching Club, the Crescent City “Eye Openers” Kiwanis, and the Jaycees.
