Randy Dale Buchert

Randy Dale Buchert, 57, of Kenner, Louisiana, went to Heaven to be with his Lord and Savior on August 4, 2024 at his sister’s home in Gulfport, Mississippi after a long battle with leukemia. He was born August 11, 1966 in Metairie, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest W. Buchert, Sr and Camille D. Buchert, Grandparents Edward Buchert, Sr and Gladys Buchert, and Nephew Shane Spiers. He is survived by his sisters Bonnie Roche of Metairie, LA and Connie Torrence of Gulfport, MS, and brother, Ronnie Buchert of Kenner, LA, Nephews David Spiers, of Slidell, LA, Jody Torrence, of Manchester, TN, Ray Torrence 111, of Saint Peters, MO, Trey Roche, of Metairie, LA and a Niece, Mandy Slone of Kingston, WA. Also survived by a host of great nephews and nieces. He worked in the body and paint business for many years. Randy has many friends, many from childhood and over the years, who all describe him as funny and having a huge heart. He loved all animals and loved his God, read his Bible faithfully and told others about how much his life changed when he received Jesus as his Savior.

Visitation will be held at Leitz Eagan Funeral home, 4747 Veterans Blvd in Metairie, LA, on Sunday, August 18, 2024 from 12:00-4:00 with a small service to follow by Pastor Armand J Domangue. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
