Randy Michael Lakes

Randy was born August 23rd, 1963 to Jack and Shirley (deceased) Lakes in San Marcos, CA. After graduating high school, Randy joined the Army, where he was a vehicle mechanic stationed in Germany. After completing his military service, Randy enjoyed living in different parts of the country, often working in outdoor jobs. His most recent job was as a service mechanic on offshore oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico. Earlier in his life he had worked as a long liner on a fishing boat catching swordfish in Mayport, Florida and similarly on another boat in Alaska.

In addition to his father, Randy is survived by brothers and sisters, Jack Lakes Jr., Janet Kittenger, Karen Mooneyhan, and Greg Lakes. He is also survived by his two children, Jeremy Lakes and Taylor Lakes.
