Ray Pace

Ray Pace, age 91, passed away on August 6, 2015. He leaves behind his loving wife Jean Harper Pace, Children John Pace (Rose- dec), Sandy Jones (Mike), Mike Pace (Cheryl), Greg Pace (Delane-dec), Susan Jones (Bill), Paul (Jennifer), Sister Elaine Trammell, 17 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. Preceeded in death by his First wife Edna and son David. Ray served his country in the United States Navy during WWII on the U.S. Saratoga and Retired as an Entergy Safety and Training Coordinator. Ray was also a faithful member of Metairie Baptist Church for over 50 years and a Deacon for 10 years, and a member of The Old Fossils Club from Entergy. Visitation will be held at Metairie Baptist Church located at 401 Codifer Blvd, Metairie, LA 70005 on Monday August 10, 2015 with visitation beginning at 9am. Pastors Dr. Thomas Strong, Mitch Myers, Dr. Bob Cole, and Dr. Joshua Stewart will be conducting the services beginning at 11am. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Cemetery located in Covington, La at 2pm. In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations to The Building Grounds Committee at Metairie Baptist Church.
