I knew Bob (not well though)during our high school years in Ephrata. I was saddened to hear of his passing. Sincere condolences to his family. Bob, may you rest in peace.

I am so sorry Bob that you are no longer with us. You were a great and real person, aggressive and very kind, a great soul who leaves a real void in this world. You now are eternally clean . Every year I knew it was my birthday in two months when yours was in June. My sympathies to your daughter Dana and your brother and your father. Your father,son, and brother was a wonderful person who always spoke his mind. A great guy. He will be very missed.

Bob was fearless when it came time to play the song.
I once suggest to him that he perform a song that was not in his immediate repertoire. He asked if we could rehearse it, a few times, which we did. Here is a picture of Bob as an invited guest performing "Don't Get Around Much Anymore".

HIs honesty with the spoken word could sometimes catch folks off guard. He would wryly smile when he had said his peace.

I knew Bob to be both generous and loyal to his friends, and I certainly count myself in that number.  My condolences to Dana and family.  Bob always knew how to "keep it real".  I remember him taking me on a fishing trip once and we limited out on redfish and trout.  I told him that I thought he would make a great fishing guide.  Bob just laughed and said, "man, that would be a good way to mess up a great hobby".  I'll miss you my friend.  RIP

Bob was my roommate back in the early '70s. Condolences to Rick (whom I know) and to Dana, whom I have never met.

Bob and I lived in Akron, pa and went through school and played together for years. Bob will remain in my memories

Bob was one of the most intelligent men I've ever met.  We spent many hours talking and sharing our views on life.  I loved him & I'll never forget him - ever.  He left this world way too early.

Another dear classmate gone too soon. Rest in peace, Bob.

I've known Bob since first grade. He was one of my "brothers."   We've spent many hours in our little group of friends, listening to music, sharing experiences and honing our philosophies about life and purpose.  I'm so glad to have had some time to reconnect before he was taken too soon...way too soon.

Bob and I go back to 1966.We have shared many an adventure! Bob was a great host and guide in New Orleans when my wife Sara and I spent a week with him in the Big Easy.Rest in peace my friend,and tell Robert Johnson and Muddy I said hello.

I was fortunate to have seen Bob last Easter in New Orleans. We had a great time talking about the old days. He will be greatly missed. Rest in peace my old friend.
