Rose Palestina Candebat, age 79 passed away on Thursday January 20, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Robert Joseph Candebat, Sr. Mother of Robert Joseph Candebat, Jr., June Candebat Delacroix and the late Kenneth Michael Candebat. Mother-in-law of David Delacroix and Paulette Candebat. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. A native of New Orleans and a resident of Metairie. She was a retired sales associate with D.H. Holmes and Dillards. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Ann’s Church in Metairie.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., Metairie on Monday January 24, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
