Mrs. Whilma D. Riemer

Wilma Dupuis Riemer, age 89, entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 18, 2010. Native of New Orleans and resident of River Ridge, La. Daughter of the late Viola Grabenkamp Dupuis and Henry Dupuis, Sr. Beloved wife of the late Bertrand C. Riemer. Mother of Bonnie Saacks, Michael B. Riemer (Lynne Nell), Lisa Feindel (Bobby), and Robin Carroll (Mitch). Grandmother of David Saacks, Matthew Saacks, Rachel Morse, Laura Kellum, Emily Riemer, Rachel Venturella, Ryan Venturella, Katelyn Rodgers, Chad Feindel, Hayley Feindel, Jaime Carroll, and Lindsey Carroll. Great grandmother of 16. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Sister of Adrien Dupuis and Carol Hughes. Preceded in death by siblings Marjorie Webre, Claudia Munsch, Esther Lambert, Grace Long, Donald Dupuis, Helen Bourgeois, and Henry Dupuis, Jr., and son-in-law Jerry Saacks.

Visitation at Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp Funeral Home, 1600 N. Causeway Blvd., Metairie, La, on Saturday, June 26, 2010 from 9:00 am to noon. Funeral Service following at Faith Lutheran Church, 300 Colonial Club Dr., Harahan, La. Interment in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, 11316 River Road., St. Rose, La.
