Willie is survived by his wife of 61 years, Ethelyn Feehan Daigle, three children, Cheryl Daigle Perez (Jeffrey), Christopher Paul Daigle, and Colin Joseph Daigle, his sister Arlene Daigle Savarese, seven grandchildren, and four great- grandchildren.
Known for his larger-than-life personality, Willie never missed an opportunity to celebrate. Whether he was hosting unforgettable parties, trying his luck at the casino, or planning elaborate holiday gatherings, he believed life was meant to be enjoyed and shared with others. Halloween was one of his favorite times of year, and he became legendary among family and friends for his creative costumes and dedication to making every celebration memorable.
Above all, he cherished the people in his life. He was deeply loved by all who had the privilege of knowing him, and his absence will be felt in the hearts of family, friends, and countless others whose lives he has touched.
He will be dearly missed and forever remembered. We know you are in a heavenly casino playing your beloved slot machines and eating the buffet.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to celebrate the funeral mass at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, LA on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
