Andrew Connor Franz, 51, of Miami, FL, passed away on December 21, 2016. He was born in Miami, FL on September 22, 1965 to Russell and Mary Franz. Andrew graduated from Cardinal Mooney High School in Sarasota. He worked for Northwest Airlines for 21 years and served as a host for International students in Miami for 10 years. Andrew enjoyed hunting, camping, boating, fishing, dancing, music, gaming and traveling. He was an excellent cook and enjoyed gourmet foods. Andrew could make anyone smile and had an infectious, unforgettable laugh. His wit drew all to his company and his kind heart made him a friend to all. Andrew is survived by his wife Belen Ortiz and three siblings: Ellen Snelling of Tampa, Scott Walker Franz of Sarasota, Victoria Saef of Charleston, SC. A memorial service to celebrate Andrew's life will be held from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, December 30 at Caballero Rivero Little Havana.
