Angel is survived by his spouse, Mercedes S. Garrido; his sons Angel Garrido, Jorge Garrido, Jose Garrido, Juan Carlos Garrido, and Enrique Garrido, fourteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, as well as his brother Jorge Garrido. He is preceded in death by his son Mauricio Garrido, sisters Jacinta “Tachy” Cuadrado and Eris “Nena” Lajonchere, and his brother Jose Antonio “Tony” Garrido.
A visitation for Angel will be held Thursday, March 10, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Caballero Rivero Little Havana, 3344 SW 8TH ST, MIAMI, FL 33135. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 11, 2022 at 10:30 AM at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 2987 W Flagler Street, Miami, FL. A burial will follow Friday, March 11, 2022 from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM at Caballero Rivero Woodlawn Park North, 3260 SW 8 Street, Miami, Florida 33135.
