Ashraf Ali, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to all, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2026, at the age of 84. Born in Calcutta, India, he lived a full life across Karachi, Dacca, Rawalpindi, Toronto, and Florida.
Ashraf was a man of warmth and generosity who made friends effortlessly wherever life took him. He established an electronics business in Karachi and was an avid reader who enjoyed drama and current affairs, remaining curious and engaged with the world throughout his life.
He was a devoted husband, raising two sons and a daughter with his loving wife by his side. He was a doting grandfather to five grandchildren and is also survived by his dear sister.
For the last four years, Ashraf faced Parkinson's disease, which restricted his mobility but never dimmed his spirit. He remained happy, grateful, and loving to the end—a testament to his resilience and character.
He will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.
