It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Aura Francisca Lanuza, of Miami, FL, who passed away on September 27, 2025, at the age of 72.
Aura was born on November 7, 1952 in Nicaragua to Juanita Lanuza Ardon and Jose Constantino Lanuza Alaniz. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, remembered for her generosity, courageousness and determination.
She is survived by family who she adored. Her sons: Alex Irias (Marissa) and Igor Irias. Her grandchildren: Kristian, Alexander, Sabrina, Demi, Matthew, Desi and Lillian. Her siblings: Mayra Lanuza, Guillermo Lanuza, Tino Lanuza and Gloria Elena Ardon. She was a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Aura was known for her passion and dedication to her family.
A funeral mass will be held on Friday October 3rd at St. Louis Catholic Church in Pinecrest, FL, at 5:30pm with a reception immediately following.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation or St Jude.
Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in the love Aura shared with all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
