Barbara was united in marriage with her late husband, Richard Guy Aubin, in 1971 in Miami, Florida. She is survived by her brother, Juan Ortega, sister, Teresita Silva, and her cherished children: Richard Aubin (Shannon Aubin), Yvette Aubin and Jessenia Ortega. Barbara will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren: Patrick Boyd Jr. (Helena Dulemba), Sarah Shaginaw (Amanda Shaginaw), Shane Aubin, Madison Aubin, and her great-grandchildren: Adelyn Nicole Hails, Aurora Jayne Boyd and Aryella Patricia Boyd.
Barbara's warm spirit, love, and nurturing presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love she so generously shared with her family and friends.
A visitation for Barbara will be held Thursday, November 30, 2023 from 5:00 pm till All Night at Caballero Rivero Little Havana, 3344 SW 8th Street, Miami, FL 33135. A funeral mass will occur Friday, December 1, 2023 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at St. Michael Catholic Church, 2987 West Flagler Street, Miami, FL 33135. A burial will occur Friday, December 1, 2023 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at Graceland Memorial Park North, 4420 SW 8th Street, Miami, FL 33134.
