I only knew you through the e mails we shared. I too am your age with 2 children and have Multiple Myeloma. We live so close but never got the chance to meet. I am saddened beyond words to find out that the Myeloma was so aggressive. My heart and soul goes out to your family. RIP Cecilia

When we talked the last day I saw you  my dear friend I now know you knew it was time to go and meet pipo and your dad again. You told me that  you had adopted me as your sister and  to keep going to your house that thru my eyes you would see your daughter grow up and your mother help them along the way. I told you stop this you will be Ok. and the way you looked at me was letting me know this was the last time we would talk when I left your room that night before you passed to a better life. I was so blessed to have known you. We meet in adversity and in a very special way you always wanting to help me with my chemos day feeling sick getting up and getting me water or calling Daniel to come to my rescue. Thank you for all your sweet words you always told me about life and reality. Well It has been an honor to have meet you and been your friend. I can only say that I miss you so much and now I don't have a true friend to say Vivian get in shape and keep getting better you will live a long time to become old. But I know your are watching me and you will help thru my hard times ahead. I love you my dear friend I will always keep you in my mind and in my heart. God is now by your side and I know you are with Pipo very happy . I saw glass of water i put next to your picture and the bubbles that came up while praying for you. Rememebr that Lazaro my brother always told you you were inside a bubble and would be  just fine. He told me the day before he saw Pipo while he was praying for you and lit a candle.That to me told me your Ok and happy. Again sending signs from heaven.. well keep sending them I will receive them very happy.MY prayers are always for you and for your daughters may they find the serenity they need to keep on. Signs from heaven has made a big impact on some of my friends.

Ceci you truly touched so many people in so many ways...You fought with dignity and bravely your disease teaching us a lesson; life should not be taken be granted and we all should enjoy our every second of our life, fight about battles with courage and faith and love one another, just like you did. I look at the photo of Charlie, Alex, Claudio and me hanging on the wall of my living room...surrounded by the beautiful frame you and your mother gave us.  It has even more special meaning now.  You will always and forever live in our hearts and our home.  And every time we sip on a cafe cubano we will think of YOU!!

God looked around his Garden and found an empty place. He then looked down upon his earth and saw your loving face. He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest. His Garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best. As the days come and go and the world moves on, I know you'll never be gone. On the day the Angel came and took your hand, we cried as you left for an unknown land. But heaven rejoiced as you came into sight, for your soul was a diamond, shining so bright!  I will always love you Ceci!

You are such a special being, most courageous warrior of faith, the brightest most beautiful smile, your elegant poise, your soft and kind speech, anyone who came in your presence was blessed, being a part of your life was a gift, being your best friend is an honor, sharing our faith and believes was a privilege. As much pain as I feel in my heart and in my soul for your departure I comfort to know you are smiling down at me from heaven, in a beautiful gown by God's side, as the angel that you are.
