Benito Loyola, age 86, of Miami, Florida passed away peacefully at South Miami Hospital on Friday, July 24, 2020. Benito was born August 8, 1933 in Santiago De Las Vegas, Cuba. Benito worked as a Superintendent for Miami-Dade County Public Schools for many years until he retired. He was very active at St. Timothy Catholic Church, ordained a Deacon in December of 1993 and continued to serve his parish in that capacity until his passing. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Teresa Loyola; their two children, Benito Loyola, Jr., & daughter-in-law, Gretchen and Lilliam Solis, & son-in-law, Pedro; and four grandchildren; Natalie, Anthony, Isabel and Josefina.
A visitation @ Caballero Rivero Westchester Funeral Home for Benito will be held Wednesday, July 29, 2020 from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM at , 8200 BIRD RD, MIAMI, FL 33155. A Mass of "Christian Burial" @ St. Timothy Catholic Church will be celebrated for Deacon Benito Loyola on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at 9:30 AM . A Committal Service at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Cemetery will follow the mass on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at 11:00 AM , 11411 NW 25th Street, Doral, FL 33172.
