A longtime resident of Miami, he died Saturday, November 2, 2024. He was 93 years old.
Hernán was born in La Arada, Santa Barbara, Honduras. He was employed by the Tela Railroad Co. (United Fruit Co.) in Honduras. He moved to Miami in 1991 and pursued a career in car sales until he retired in 2002.
He was preceded in death by his mother Leonor Madrid, father Alberto Madrid, brother Rigoberto Madrid and sister Dilcia Arriaga.
He is survived by his wife Delia Madrid, son Hernan (Lisa) Madrid, daughter Rossana (William) Paine and son Dennis (Jessica) Madrid, 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
