It is with great sadness that the family of Jimmy Zogaib announces his sudden passing on Friday, September 29, 2017, at the age of 46. Jimmy will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 25 years, Maribel and his children, Annabelle (19) and Jimmy (16).
He is survived by his parents Tony and Carmen, his grandmother Olga and his brothers Rick, Johnny and Raymond.
A very caring and loving soul, Jimmy will be remembered for his unwavering faith, relentless determination, positive outlook on life, resilience, selfless devotion to others and the ability to make anyone feel at ease.
A master negotiator, Jimmy's business savvy was exceptional. His son's health was his main priority; he would leave no stone unturned in search of the best medical treatment. Jimmy never quit and went above and beyond as his son's advocate.
Jimmy approached life with passion in the pursuit of excellence, always putting his family first.
A football enthusiast, he loved watching the game while enjoying a good steak. Also a talented singer, Jimmy would be heard singing in the car, shower and while grilling on the BBQ. He was always the life of the party and, in his younger years, enjoyed showing off his break dancing moves.
No words can properly encapsulate his vibrant life and legacy. In spite of life's daunting challenges and huge obstacles, he would often be heard saying "our strength is in the Lord." Jimmy will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. We will forever carry him in our hearts and look forward to seeing him again.
A Viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 4th, from 5 to 11 pm at Caballero Rivero Woodlawn South, 11655 SW 117th Ave.
In lieu of flowers, donations are greatly appreciated.
