Dr. Jeanethe Doreathea Thompson, a beloved wife, mother, devoted educator, and faithful community member, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on May 18, 1950, in Jamaica, Dr. Thompson spent her life in service to others, ultimately making her home in Miami, Florida.
Dr. Thompson dedicated many years of her life to the field of education, serving with distinction as a principal. Her leadership, compassion, and unwavering commitment to her students and staff left a lasting legacy in every school she touched. Beyond her professional accomplishments, she was a pillar of strength, love, and wisdom to her family and community.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Warren Thompson, and her cherished children, Janine Thompson Brown and Marc Thompson. Her love extended far beyond her immediate family, encompassing many beloved relatives, dear friends, and treasured members of her church community.
Those who had the honor of knowing Dr. Thompson were truly blessed by her grace, kindness, and unshakable faith. Her warmth, generosity, and radiant spirit will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all she inspired and uplifted.
A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. May she rest in eternal peace.
