Jorge was the beloved son of Miguel and Nestora Garcia; brother to Daisy Garcia-Gil and Nancy Nunez; father to Jennifer Brack, Jorge Michael Garcia and Stephanie Garcia. He had recently met his first grandson, Noah Xavier Vasquez.
Jorge was funny and mischievous. He loved life and enjoyed living it to the fullest. He, like all of us, had his own demons to fight. He won some battles and lost others, eventually realizing that the war was not his to fight after all. He relinquishing all the control he thought he had and finally found the peace you can only obtain in surrendering to the One who has already been victorious. Jorge knew the Lord.
All of us who loved him are left with the knowledge that we will be together again in the home that the Lord has gone to prepare for us. Although we remain in the pain of his absence, we also remain in the Peace thar surpasses all understanding with which the Lord blesses all who love Him.
