Kenneth Ralph Mayhew of Miami, Florida, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2025, at age 84. Born on January 19th, 1941, in Miami, Florida, he was the son of the late William and Jean Mayhew. Kenny, as he was known, lived a life marked by kindness, generosity, and unwavering devotion to those he loved.
Kenny proudly served his country as a member of the Army National Guard and attended the University of Miami. He went on to become President of National Fisheries where he worked most of his life. He was a hard-working man who instilled great values in his children.
He was a devoted husband to Maggie and a loving father to Nelson and Mark. He enjoyed traveling with his family and watching his sons play sports. He loved taking long walks on the beach, playing basketball, golfing and giving free advice to everyone.
Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Magaly Mayhew; sons Nelson (Stephanie) and Mark (Lisa); his grandchildren Christopher and Kylie Mayhew; and his sister Mary Ann Suhre (Steve).
Kenny’s legacy of love and kindness will be forever cherished by his family and friends. May his memory live on in the hearts of everyone who knew him.
