September 2, 1957- April 12, 2018

Maria peacefully passed away on Thursday April 12, 2018 after a brief illness. She is survived by her mother Gina Barsimantov and sister Carol Surowiec.

Maria was born in Cuba and emigrated to Miami in 1961.

She graduated from Chaminade-Madonna High School in 1975 and attended Miami Dade College while beginning a career in banking.

She joined City National Bank in 1985 and enjoyed a long and productive career until the time of her passing.

Maria will be remembered as very caring daughter, sister, niece, cousin, godmother, caregiver, co- worker and friend who will be greatly missed.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St Kieran’s Catholic Church 3605 South Miami Avenue, Coconut Grove, Florida, 33133.
