It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Maria Oliveira Mejia, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, who departed this life on September 8, 2025, at the age of 91.
Born on March 23, 1934, in Brazil, Maria made a life filled with love, warmth, and devotion. She was a long-time resident of Miramar, Florida, where she touched the lives of all who knew her with her kindness and generous spirit.
Maria was a dedicated homemaker, who found joy and purpose in caring for her family. Her home was a place of comfort, laughter, and unconditional love. She was preceded in passing by her beloved husband, whose memory she cherished throughout her life.
She is survived by her son, two daughters, and many other beloved family members and friends who will forever hold her in their hearts. Maria’s legacy of love and compassion will live on through those she nurtured and inspired.
She will be dearly missed, but her memory will continue to shine brightly in the lives of those who had the privilege to know and love her.
