Born in Cuba, Maria immigrated to the United States in pursuit of a better life for her family. She brought with her a deep sense of faith, resilience, and a heart full of love. A devoted mother, cherished mother-in-law, and adoring grandmother, Maria was the cornerstone of her family. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.
Maria’s life was a testament to the values she held dear: faith, family, and perseverance. She will be deeply missed by her children, grandchildren, extended family, and all those whose lives were brightened by her gentle presence and generous soul.
A funeral Mass will be held in her honor on Monday, June 9, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Raymond of Peñafort Catholic Church, located at 3475 SW 17th Street, Miami, FL 33145. Following the Mass, a committal service will take place at 11:30 AM at Memorial Plan Flagler Memorial Park, 5301 W Flagler Street, Miami, FL 33134.
