Mary was deeply loved by anyone lucky enough to be in her life, especially her longtime friends of Holy Rosary's Council of Catholic Women.  I met Mary through her close friendship with my Mom, Ellen, and we got to share some fun and interesting times.   Ushering at Actors' Playhouse in Coral Gables was just one among these occasions, laughing and joking having a nosh and beverage before or after, but whatever we got to do, it was always delightfully humorous.  Mary always put her special spark of joy into whomever and whatever she experienced, and she will deeply missed by everyone.   

My condolences to her beloved family and beautiful friends as we cherish the great memories Mary has given us all.

Aunt Mary was my “Godfather”,  a  long story which Cindy knows. She was one of the kindest, most loving people I have ever known. Although we were separated by many miles and I only saw her a few times in the last 40 years, I felt very close to her. We had some great phone conversations over the last few years. She was always interested in my family and would relay stories about Cindy, Ed and their family. I will miss her and those chats more than I can say. Love to Cindy, Ed and family. 

Aunt Mary was my second Mom! She invited me to MD when I was a lost 16-year-old, introducing me to the world that exists outside of Cincinnati.  She was a savvy businesswoman, having the title of secretary, but every CEO she worked with knew she ran the office with her attention to detail and people skills.
I laughed more with Aunt Mary than anyone still to this day. She helped everyone to relax, laugh, and be the person they should be. Thank you for all the great memories!

I've known Cindy since high school and have fond memories of dinners, games, and just spending time with Mom and Bob.   

I sometimes had to remember that her name was Mary because she was always just "Mom" to me.  

Sending hugs and prayers to the whole family, with much love.


I knew Mary only through the eyes of her daughter, Cindy, as she described lovely weekends spent doing mother/daughter things, going to church bazaars and the like. It doesn't get much better than that. Mary and Cindy were both the beneficiaries.

We keep our mothers close to our hearts, grateful for the time and times we shared. My heart goes out to Cindy and her family. Happy memories are there, waiting to re-emerge.
