With profound sadness and deep love, we announce the passing of our beloved mother Mercy Lopez who left us far too soon on March 7, 2026. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, and a cherished friend to so many.

To her family, she was simply “Mami.” Her greatest joy in life was caring for those she loved. She devoted her life to her family and her loving husband, cheering from the sidelines at her grandsons’ baseball games, and making sure everyone around her felt supported and cared for. Her presence was constant, her love unwavering, and her devotion to her family was the center of her life.

Known for her vibrant spirit, warm heart, and joyful personality, Mercy truly was the life of every gathering. She had a way of bringing people together and making everyone feel welcome. Anyone who knew her loved her instantly.

She leaves behind a family who adored her and will carry her love forward every day. She is survived by her beloved husband Juan Lopez, her children David, Jason and his wife Alina, Jenny and her husband Robert, as well as her treasured grandchildren Justin, Julian, Natalie and Andrew, who were the light of her life. She also leaves behind her sisters Damaris, Margarita, y Teresita, extended family members and many, many dear friends who will miss her deeply.

Though our hearts are broken, we are grateful for the memories we shared and the love she gave so freely. Her faith, kindness, and devotion to her family will remain her lasting legacy.

All family and friends are invited to gather to honor and celebrate her life.

A viewing and will be held at Caballero Rivero Westchester located at 8200 Bird Road on Thursday, March 12 at 5:30 pm until 1am. A Catholic Mass will be held at Saint Brendan Catholic Church at 10 am on Friday, March 13 8725 SW 32 Street followed by her wishes to be cremated and remain at home with her loved ones.

She will forever be remembered as the heart of our family — a woman whose love knew no bounds.

Con profundo dolor y con mucho amor, anunciamos el fallecimiento de nuestra querida madre Mercy Lopez, quien nos dejó demasiado pronto el 7 de marzo de 2026. Fue una esposa devota, madre morosa, abuela orgullosa y una amiga muy querida por tantos.

Para su familia, ella era simplemente “Mami.” Su mayor alegría en la vida era cuidar de las personas que amaba. Dedicó su vida a su familia y a su amado esposo Juan, siempre presente animando desde las gradas en los juegos de béisbol de sus nietos y asegurándose de que todos a su alrededor se sintieran apoyados y queridos. Su presencia era constante, su amor inquebrantable, y su devoción por su familia fue siempre el centro de su vida.

Conocida por su espíritu vibrante, su corazón generoso y su personalidad llena de alegría, Mercy era verdaderamente el alma de cada reunión. Tenía una forma especial de reunir a las personas y hacer que todos se sintieran bienvenidos. Quien la conocía, la quería de inmediato.

Deja atrás a una familia que la adoraba y que llevará su amor siempre en sus corazones. Le sobreviven su querido esposo Juan Lopez, sus hijos David, Jason y su esposa Alina, Jenny y su esposo Robert, así como sus adorados nietos Justin, Julian, Natalie y Andrew, quienes eran la luz de su vida. También deja sus hermanas Damaris, Margarita, y Teresita, muchos familiares extendidos y a muchísimos amigos queridos que la extrañarán profundamente.

Aunque nuestros corazones están rotos, agradecemos los recuerdos que compartimos y el amor que ella entregó con tanta generosidad. Su fe, su bondad y su profunda devoción por su familia serán siempre su legado.

El velorio se llevará a cabo en Caballero Rivero Westchester, ubicado en 8200 Bird Road, el jueves 12 de marzo a partir de las 5:30 PM hasta las 1:00 AM.

Una Misa Católica se celebrará el viernes 13 de marzo a las 10 AM en Saint Brendan Catholic Church 8725 SW 32 Street seguida de su deseo de ser cremada y permanecer en casa con sus seres queridos.

Será recordada para siempre como el corazón de nuestra familia — una mujer cuyo amor no conocía límites.
