Norma Jean Perez-Viña was born on November 6, 1944 in Havana, Cuba. She fled the communist regime on the famed Peter Pan flights on May 28th, 1962. Settling in Miami, she met her future husband, Rene I. Carrasco. They wed on November 14, 1964. She is survived by her 3 children, Rene, Luly and Belkis, her 3 grandchildren, Justin, Kyle and Mayra, and her 2 son-in-laws, Tino and Luís. She fiercely loved her family and was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. Her lasting legacy is her unending strength and her contagious laugh. We will miss her and will continue to spread her laughter and her memory for as long as we live. May she Rest In Eternal Peace.
