Pedro Vazquez

Born on January 23, 1939, in Sagua la Grande, Cuba, Pedro dedicated his life to providing for and supporting those he loved. He left Cuba in pursuit of a better future, not only for himself but for his family, and through his hard work, determination, and sacrifice, he exceeded that goal and created opportunities that impacted generations.

Pedro was a skilled mechanic who could fix just about anything. Family and friends often joked that if he couldn’t fix it, then it was time to buy a new one. His talent, resourcefulness, and willingness to lend a hand made him someone people could always count on.

More than anything, Pedro loved being surrounded by his family and friends. He was known for his generosity, kindness, and unwavering willingness to help others without ever expecting anything in return. His selflessness touched countless lives, and his quiet acts of service left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Pedro leaves behind his beloved wife; his two daughters; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren, all of whom were the pride and joy of his life. He also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will forever cherish the memories, lessons, and love he shared.

Pedro “Papa” Vasquez will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, loyal friend, gifted mechanic, and one of the most selfless people anyone could ever hope to know. His legacy of hard work, generosity, and unconditional love will live on through the family he cherished and the many lives he touched.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
