A cardiologist since 1971, Ramon devoted decades to the care of others, known for a steady compassion and a selfless commitment to helping his patients. His resilience showed in the constancy of his work and the seriousness with which he approached each day—often described as a workaholic, he gave his time and energy with purpose, guided by a deep sense of responsibility and service.
Ramon also valued civic duty and was big on voting, believing that participation mattered. Beyond his professional life, he enjoyed the stock market, bringing the same focus and diligence to his interests that he brought to his work. Above all, he cherished his family, and in the lives he touched, he will be remembered as deeply beloved.
He was married for over 60 years to Carmen Carrillo.
He is survived by his sons, Pedro Carrillo and Felix Carrillo; his daughter-in-law, Lizette Carrillo; and his grandchildren, Juan Carlos Carrillo, Alejandro Carrillo, Cristina Carrillo, and Veronica Carrillo.
