Isabel,  When I started looking through the pictures of our times together I could not stop crying.  You know I never cry!  It lasted all day and when I started writing this note to you I started crying again because I know you will read this.  Everything I went through life whether happy or sad we were together.  What am I going to do?  I guess feel gratitude for the wonderful years you were part of my life.  Also, my children’s life and my grandchildren’s life.  Everyone was so lucky.  The most precious gifts don’t come tied up in a beautiful bow, but they are intangible feeling of love and support wrapped up in one’s heart.  You will always be nestled safe and warm in my heart.    Someone wrote this to you: “We make a living by what we earn.  We make our life by what we give”. This was written just for you.  You gave me love and support every day of my life.  We talked, giggled and had fun everyday even though we could not understand all the words we spoke we felt and saw what we could not verbally say in our eyes.  Remember when we whizzed down the Central Park slide.  We screamed, whistled and laughted. Wheee - a hard bottom crash.You had a wonderful love of life and cared about everyone and everyone loved you.  I will not ever forever when I baked a cake and it slowly sunk to the  size of a pancake.We kept rushing to prop it up with toothpicks as we had company for dinner.No luck, as we were laughing, it ended up flat so we through a quart of ice cream in the BIG hole to fill up the cake.  Everyone wanted the recipe, but that was impossible as there was no recipe to give.We kept giggling all day and night until it was all eaten.They probably thought we were hiding an old family recipe!  Well,  I am next in line so save me a seat next to you and tell Betty I said “hello.”  We 3 can have tea 🎉  every afternoon.  (We will have to ask Betty Pitts what she was doing with a barstool in her kitchen.She claimed that is where she read her Bible?) Forever, and ever, Liz

Mom you are and will always be my rock !!!! When I close my eyes I can see you smiling - words can not express how much you mean and meant to me - love love love love you forever and ever
