Dr.Alonso had an incredible impact on my life, He had enormous patience and would talk to me every day because I was sent to the office. I was always getting in trouble . Very patient man would always tell me he knew I could do better . He’s talks had a profound impact on me and I looked back at them when I was lost . I will miss you !

Hay hombres buenos... pero hay otros mejores aun... se ha marchado un grande entre estos ultimos...

I hold great memories of Dr. Alonso. Only good ones, first as a student from the Champagnat Hialeah Campus and then as a teacher from the Miami Campus.  A man of God, always fair and always a loving human being. His guidance helped me become the teacher that I am today.  Great leader, excellent father and an amazing boss. Heaven has truly gained an Angel. May he rest in Peace. My prayers go out to his children, Miriam, Carlitos and Bellita. 

Dr. Alonso was a good man and above all a true servant of God. I treasure the memories of seeing him walk along the school grounds keeping a watchful eye on his students. He had a great sense of humor. I hold Champagnat Catholic School near and dear to my heart. My condolences go out to his children during this difficult time.

I have only fondness in my heart when I remember Dr. Alonso. He always had a smile on his face. The light in his soul and his genuine love for our Lord Jesus Christ could be seen in that smile and in his kind eyes. He will be missed. May he be at peace with Jesus. He leaves a true legacy behind since he touched the lives of many through Champagnat Catholic School. His family is in my prayers.

A tragic loss.  I remember many a times not always seeing eye to eye with Mr. Alonso in catechism class but getting to banter with him always made it much more interesting.  He was a understanding and caring principal and I have fond memories of him.  Although our school was small and simple, it was and will always be like a second family.  My deepest condolences to Bellita, Miriam, Carlos and family.  May the Lord be with you in this difficult time and may he rest in peace.

Dr. Alonso, is the kind of person that leaves a lasting impression. He was humble, kind, a person of much faith and a great listener.
Truly a warm caring soul, who always had the students best interest at heart. I’m sure that he is in very special place in Heaven. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family and the entire Champagnat family.
