Mi nombre es Olga Rendon, gracias a Dios y al señor Rene Lopez y la señora  Adela  Mills tube la oportunidad y el privilegio de conocer a don Rene  hace 4 meses llegué a su casa para ayudarles con el cuidado de su señora esposa Edelmira,para mi fue una alegría muy grande haberlo conocido,porque pude compartir momentos muy bonitos con don Rene que siempre los llevaré en mi corazon,extraño mucho cuando por las mañanas después que desayunaba,se sentaba en su piano,tocaba y cantaba unas cuantas melodias,y hasta con la guitarra,me llevaré esos recuerdos por siempre en mi corazón, en este corto tiempo pude aprender muchas cosas de el,y pude conocer muchas historias que me contaba y reíamos de esas historias mi más sentido pésame a su hermosa familia conformada con sus 2 hijos Rene y Adela y sus nietos y bisnietos que eran su orgullo y adoracion,Don Rene gracias por tanto en tan poco tiempo, lo extrañaré  y recordaré siempre descanse en paz mi señor Rene.atte Olga Rendon

Se nos fue un verdadadero artista: músico, escritor y compositor. Pero sobre todo, se nos fue un gran ser humano. René dedicó junto a Mirita sus servicios por más de 30 años para la iglesia San Joaquín donde dirigió el coro de la misa de las 12  sin recibir salario. Como parte del coro, compartí con ellos  canciones, alegrías, fiestas, algunas penas y hasta unas clases de guitarra. Le doy gracias a Dios por haberlo traído a mi vida
Hoy celebro su vida y me considero muy afortunada de haber sido partícipe de la suya. Se fué más allá de las estrellas con la divina luz como dice la canción. Hoy goza de la gloria y de la paz.  Que Dios le de la conformidad a sus familiares sabiendo que  René descansa en la paz de Señor.
