Ted Nunez, 71, of Miami, Florida, joined our Lord and Savior, September 8, 2015. Ted, born August 3,1944, son to Candido Nunez and Mary Socarras, loving husband of Cheryl Nunez, passed away on September 8, after a long battle with diabetes. He is survived by his wife Sherie, two children Stephanie and Ryan, granddaughter Abby Rae. He is also survived by his two brothers Bill and Alex, Aunt Sheila and cousin (he called her sister) Rosa. In 1956 he arrived from his home land of Havana, Cuba at the age of eleven. He attended Miami Jackson Sr. High, where he met his loving wife, whom he described to many people as the nicest person you could ever meet. Ted was an accomplished businessman, a skilled carpenter and Real Estate Broker for over 30 years for Real Estate Sales and Service (which he started with his wife) and also founder of Taylor Made Kitchens for almost 30 years. He loved fishing and hunting with friends and family and playing with his granddaughter every chance he got. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Services will be held this Saturday the 12th at Woodlawn Park South funeral home at 9 am. Graveside service to follow at 10:30 am. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
