Ada E. (Killion) Davis

Age 82 of Miamisburg, passed away Saturday, October 4, 2014 in Germantown, OH. She was born October 16, 1931 in Barbourville, KY to the late Benjamin Killion and Flora (Woolum) Killion. In addition to her parents, Ada was preceded in death by her husband of over 35 years, Bill V. Davis (1989); sons, Alan Davis and Jeffrey Davis and 6 siblings. She is survived by her other children, Kathy (David) Hamm of West Carrollton and Michael (Beth) Davis of Cincinnati; grandchildren, Drew, Meghan and Eli; siblings, Herbert Killion, Kenneth (Jean) Killian and Brenda Mays all of Barbourville, KY and her friend, William Burke of Germantown as well as numerous extended family and many special friends. Ada attended Knox County Schools in Kentucky and worked for several years as a candy maker for Esther Price. Later she solidified her career retiring after 30 years with GM as an automotive painter. Ada regularly attended Miami Shores Baptist Church and enjoyed shopping, her close friendships and long road trips. Family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, Miamisburg and from 11AM-2PM on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Hampton Funeral Home, Barbourville, KY. Funeral services will follow at 2PM, also at Hampton Funeral Home and officiated by Rev. Glenn Collins. Burial will take place at Hampton Cemetery, Barbourville.
