

Bernice 'Alene' Kramer, age 83, passed away on March 28, 2026. She was born on May 11, 1942, in Muncie, Indiana, and spent most of her childhood in Tennessee. Bernice later moved to Dayton in her teens and graduated from Patterson Co-Op in Dayton. She will be remembered with gratitude and respect for the life she lived and the family she cherished.
Alene enjoyed the Cincinnati Reds and listening to Elvis—simple pleasures that brought her steady joy and were part of the rhythm of her everyday life. She also gave her time in service to others as a volunteer at Sycamore Hospital, reflecting her caring and dependable nature.
A devoted woman, Alene was deeply committed to her family and to being present for their activities. She was a proud grandmother, and her steady support and attention to those she loved formed a lasting legacy that will remain with her family for years to come.
Alene is survived by her husband of 63 years, John Kramer; children, Mike (Sandy) Kramer and Kellie (Spencer) Blanton; and grandchildren, Reagan (Gavin) and Jack (Roberta). She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Rheba (Hull) Reagan; and her brothers, Wilborn, Carson, Buddy, and Johnny Reagan.
A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton.
