My dear cousin Trey Phelps’ passing has been shocking and extremely saddening to me. I unfortunately never got to meet him in person, but for as long as I can remember we have communicated through Facebook. Speaking with him was always a delight; he was one of the most caring and loving individuals. He would always check up on me if he thought I was having a rough time, and I will forever be grateful for his compassion, care, and consolation. He was bright, funny, intelligent, and extremely kind—to name a few qualities that made him so wonderful. He will be greatly missed by me and by so many.

I worked with Daryl at petsmart. He was a funny, sweet, caring person. He was witty and had a great sense of humor! He was an amazing person and I’m glad we met and worked together. His knowledge for animals was incredible and I’ll never forget all he taught me. My prayers are with his family and loved ones. May he Rest In Peace.

Trey was a wonderful person who made a HUGE impact on my life. There are so many memories, its hard to share just one. But I thought everyone might enjoy a memory of Trey, in all his goofiness. So please enjoy a really old, really lovely photo commemorating that one time I held him down and made him a pretty girl during a theater production. He resisted, but in the end, he laughed and joked and posed for a pretty cute picture. I miss you. Trey, and I love you. Cant wait to see you again.

Trey is one of my longest and best friends. He was always someone I could turn to for a laugh, or to just talk about everything in life. He was always kind and never had a negative thing to say about anyone. He was loved and will be greatly missed.

Trey was one of my best friends since middle school. I had a lot of good memories with him and the rest of our group. I still remember him coming over and jumping on the trampoline until we couldn’t feel our toes from cold. I remember trips to the library and hanging out on the playground. He was always so sweet. He’s going to be missed..a so many people.

Amy was my supervisor when I worked for Cox Media Group in Dayton. I can still remember the way her face lit up when she talked about her family, and or the sound of her voice when she talked to them on the phone. Even from across the room, I could tell her mouth would have been curled into a smile - even when her brow was furrowed.
Sending much love from our home to you.
